The Monitoring Committee for Funchal's II Municipal Youth Plan has been established within the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ). Its formation was a key item at the CMJ's first ordinary session of the current term, held on September 28.
During the meeting, the methodology for developing the new plan was presented. This process involves participation from the Municipality, youth, youth organizations, and other partner entities. The work will precede the submission of the document for approval by the Municipal Chamber and Assembly.
The methodology includes five phases, such as identifying priorities and defining objectives, measures, goals, and resources, based on a diagnosis and collected contributions. A review of municipal activities, indicators, and projects for young people was also conducted, including the Merit and Value Scholarships and the Youth Desk.
