The Funchal Municipal Chamber's Mobile Eco-Center is set up in the Sé parish, on Rua Tenente Coronel Sarmento, and will remain there until November 2nd.
This initiative is part of the "Eco Juntas" project, which deploys the mobile unit to the ten parishes of the municipality to simplify the correct disposal of small household waste not suitable for conventional bins.
Accepted items include batteries, CDs, DVDs, small appliances, mobile phones, ink cartridges, light bulbs, and paint cans. Launched in March 2025, the project aims to bring selective waste collection closer to residents and promote proper waste separation.
