For short-term rentals, prices can be even higher, with a 30-square-meter studio in São Gonçalo listed at €1,490 and a 60-square-meter studio in the Casino area at €1,600. However, these figures do not represent the usual price, as studios are also advertised between €750 and €1,200.
Idealista data for the second quarter of the year indicates that the median rental price for a studio in Funchal is approximately €890, substantially lower than the maximum values found. It is important to distinguish between advertised prices and actual contracted rents.
