The Funchal City Council (CMF) has warned about the "lack of civility" shown by some citizens in waste management, a situation that directly impacts urban cleanliness.
The municipality urges all residents to cooperate by depositing waste in the correct locations and at appropriate times to ensure the maintenance of hygiene and well-being in the city.
This issue has caused disruptions and increased difficulties for urban cleaning teams, who are struggling with waste left outside bins or in unsuitable places.
