The Funchal Municipal Chamber (CMF) has announced a water supply interruption scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
This measure is necessary due to urgent intervention required at the Quinta do Faial reservoir. The shutdown will begin at 9:00 AM, with an estimated duration of 8 hours, and service is expected to resume by 5:00 PM.
Several streets will be affected, including Caminho do Palheiro (numbers 46 to 91B), Rua do Agrela, Beco do Pedro Lopes, and Travessa do Rio de Janeiro, among others specified by the municipality.
