Lieutenant General Luís Manuel Ricardo Monsanto, Commander of Land Forces, is on an official visit to Madeira.
This morning, General Monsanto met at the Palácio de São Lourenço with Lieutenant General Paulo Lopes da Silva, the outgoing Madeira Operational Commander. The visit will conclude this afternoon with the inauguration ceremony of the new Madeira Operational Commander, Major General Gilberto Lopes Garcia.
