Horários do Funchal (HF) has wrapped up another edition of 'GIRO na HF', its annual summer camp for the children of its employees. From July 13 to August 14, 36 children, aged 6 to 10, participated in a varied program.
The activities combined adventure, nature contact, sports, and culture, featuring canoeing, sailing, horse riding, and visits to sites like Pico do Areeiro Radar, Quinta Vigia, the Natural History Museum, and the Bank of Portugal. Road safety education with the PSP and leisure time at beaches and swimming complexes were also included.
The closing party was attended by the HF Board of Directors, with president Marco Lobato expressing the company's pride and commitment to continuing the project, thanking families for their trust and partners for their support. The initiative is free for employees' families and is part of the public transport company's social responsibility policy.
