Madeira's Via Rápida experienced heavy traffic on Tuesday, leading to significant congestion.
The most affected sections were Cancela-Caniço and Caniço-Porto Novo, in the direction of Machico-Ribeira Brava. According to the InfoVias application, congestion extended between kilometers 24 and 21 on the first section.
On the Caniço-Porto Novo stretch, traffic was restricted near kilometer 26.3, also due to the high volume of vehicles.
