Horários do Funchal is increasing operations on Route 181, connecting Funchal and Curral das Freiras, on August 29th and 30th. The enhancement aims to facilitate travel and encourage public transport use during the Nossa Senhora do Livramento festival.
On Saturday, August 29th, services will be reinforced from 4:30 PM, with the last departure from Curral das Freiras scheduled for 2:30 AM on Sunday. On Sunday, August 30th, the reinforcement starts at 2:30 PM, and the last departure from Curral das Freiras is expected at 9:00 PM. Departures in Funchal will be from the usual stop near the Cable Car, and in Curral das Freiras, boarding will be near Bar Serafim. Due to traffic restrictions, minor route adjustments may occur.
Route 181 fares remain unchanged, and all valid inter-municipal transport passes are accepted. The company reaffirms its commitment to mobility and support for local traditions, offering a safe and sustainable option for festival attendees.
