ARTE.M – Associação Artística e Cultural da Madeira, together with ARThub Madeira, has launched a new call for participation under the European PLASTY project, aimed at young people in Madeira and Porto Santo.
The initiative invites them to turn discarded plastic into works of art, using creativity, experimentation and environmental education as a complement to recycling. It is not intended to replace existing collection and recycling systems.
Aimed at people aged 14 and over, applications require only a short description of an idea, with no artistic qualifications needed. The call is open until 15 December 2026, with a public exhibition planned for October 2027.
