Invest Madeira will enhance its collaboration with the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP) in preparing external promotion initiatives. These actions are planned until the end of this year and throughout 2027.
The regional agency attended the AICEP 2026 Forum held in Porto. Executive Director Filipa Ferreira highlighted the importance of AICEP's external network in supporting the Region's actions in other countries, noting that AICEP delegates are the first point of contact for Invest Madeira.
During the event, contacts were made with AICEP representatives in Germany, Canada, and the United States, markets considered strategic. Filipa Ferreira also mentioned opportunities arising from the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur for regional companies interested in exporting or investing.
