Escola Secundária Jaime Moniz will hold the third Meeting for Students Speaking Other Languages on 9 November at 1:15 p.m. in the Edmundo Tavares Auditorium on the third floor.
The event is part of the school's Tutorial Assistance project for these students. Members of the Executive Council, the Psychology and Guidance Service, the Portuguese as a Non-Native Language coordinator Fátima Matos, and the coordinators of the Raízes do Mundo project are expected to attend.
The meeting aims to introduce students of different nationalities, answer questions and present the school's services, clubs and history. Students will share experiences of arriving in a new country and joining a new school.
Under the theme "A school, a space for the world", the third edition seeks to strengthen ties between students and teachers and celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity.
