From September 21 to 25, 2026, a group of students and teachers from Jaime Moniz Secondary School visited Łódź, Poland, as part of the Erasmus+ project «Eco-Citizens for a Sustainable Europe». The project, involving schools from Greece, Poland, and Portugal, aims to promote ecological citizenship, environmental sustainability, and cultural exchange.
During their stay, participants visited the Polish partner school, VI Liceum Ogólnokształcące, and engaged in workshops on sustainability, including environmental education through photography and video. The program also featured a visit to Warsaw, with activities at the European Parliament Liaison Office.
The mobility provided exposure to different cultures through visits to Łódź, Krakow, and Warsaw, exploring historical heritage and green spaces. This experience was seen as a valuable learning opportunity for sustainability and European citizenship, fostering personal development, autonomy, and cooperation among the students.
