The Jardim da Serra Basic School (1st Cycle with Preschool) now has a new transition room for the current academic year. The space, which accommodates 14 children, was restructured with the support of the Câmara Municipal de Câmara de Lobos.
Celso Bettencourt, the municipality's president, and Sónia Brazão, the councilor for Education, visited the school's facilities and the new room. The municipality stated that the support helped create better conditions for the children's care and strengthened the educational response in the area.
"This new room is an example of a simple intervention, but with a very significant impact," said Celso Bettencourt, emphasizing the municipality's commitment to listening to schools' needs and contributing to the well-being of children and families.
