Public transport in Funchal operated without visible disruptions on Monday morning, despite a meeting of road transport workers convened by STRAMM.
Passengers interviewed at stops in Largo do Pelourinho and Avenida do Mar reported no changes to the service. Some were unaware that the meeting was taking place.
The meeting was called by STRAMM/FECTRANS as part of negotiations for the passenger road transport sector. The focus was on worker participation and potential decisions arising from the assembly.
