American vibraphonist Joel Ross captivated the audience at Santa Catarina Park, closing the first night of outdoor concerts for the 2026 Funchal Jazz Festival.
Recognized as a prominent figure among the new generation of international jazz musicians, Ross delivered an intense and sophisticated performance, showcasing his creativity to an applauding crowd. His set marked the conclusion of the festival's outdoor opening night.
The festival, which previously held three days of events at the Municipal Garden Auditorium, continues until Saturday at Santa Catarina Park, featuring two daily concerts.
