The CDS Youth (JP Madeira) visited the Mother Center, an institution that supports pregnant women, mothers, and children in vulnerable situations.
The visit focused on the institution's various services, including a shelter residence for ten mothers and their children, aimed at preserving family ties and promoting autonomy.
Leandro Silva, president of JP Madeira, praised the center's work, emphasizing that supporting a family goes beyond the basics, focusing on creating conditions for stability and autonomy. The institution also promotes parenting through training and operates a Social Store for family support.
Silva highlighted the importance of the teams' work, partnerships with companies, and civil society, stressing that family policy must consider children's upbringing and parental support.
