The new local bodies of the Social Democratic Youth (JSD) of Machico took office, with the presence of Bruno Melim, president of the Regional Political Commission of JSD Madeira.
Bruno Melim criticized the Machico Municipal Chamber, led by the Socialist Party, for "not investing in housing". Nationally, he warned of the "political irresponsibility of PS and Chega" should the State Budget for 2027 be rejected.
"We will see if the AD Government will have the conditions to extend the Public Guarantee beyond December 31st or if the opposition will unite to block a decisive measure in the acquisition of youth housing," stated Melim, highlighting the measure's importance for young people.
