Juventude ADN has issued a statement demanding answers from the University of Madeira (UMa) concerning an alleged shortage of classrooms and the absence of a lecturer for a specific course.
The request follows reports from students who encountered unavailable classrooms and were informed that a solution for the teaching staff shortage would only be known the following week. The organization expressed concern about the potential impact on students' academic progress, including those in their final year.
Juventude ADN is inquiring whether the UMa administration and the Regional Secretariat for Education are aware of the situation and what measures are being taken to prevent negative consequences for the students. The organization emphasized the university's crucial role in educating the region's youth and preparing for its future, stating that such issues cannot be overlooked.
