The Madeira Classical Orchestra (OCM) will present a recital by the Legno Duo at the Royal Savoy Hotel in Funchal on October 21 at 9 PM. The event is supported by Savoy Signature Group, an OCM partner since September 2023.
The Legno Duo, featuring violinist Joana Costa and percussionist Duarte Santos on marimba, will perform a program including works by composers such as Ney Rosauro, Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Seixas, and Emmanuel Séjourné. The duo, part of the OCM's artistic offerings since December 2024, explores the fusion of violin and marimba sounds with a repertoire dedicated to this ensemble.
