The Lobijogos are returning to the bay of Câmara de Lobos on August 15th, an initiative promoted by the Municipal Council. The event aims to combine competition, socialising, and community participation.
Starting at 9 PM, the event will bring together over 50 participants from the municipality's five parishes: Câmara de Lobos, Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, Jardim da Serra, Curral das Freiras, and Quinta Grande. Teams will face various challenges on land and sea, testing agility, strength, strategy, and teamwork.
The initiative seeks to revive the memory of old games, adapting them to the setting of Câmara de Lobos Bay. The municipality highlights the goal of promoting a moment of intergenerational meeting and socialising, strengthening the sense of belonging and the population's connection to their localities. Entry is free.
