The Portuguese Navy patrol vessel Zaire has been relocated to the south pier of Pontinha in Funchal Port.
This move is necessitated by a breakdown of the Lobo Marinho ferry, which will be out of service for voyages between October 14th and 22nd for repairs in the Canary Islands. The relocation of the NRP Zaire serves as a precautionary measure to prevent any risk of collision with the ferry during its maneuvering in or out of the port.
