The Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC) – Madeira Regional Nucleus is organizing the 'Body, Image and Well-being' initiative at the Plaza Madeira shopping center on October 20th, as part of the Pink October celebrations.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness about the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, also highlighting the importance of self-esteem, personal image, and physical and emotional well-being throughout the disease journey. The program includes an informational session on the ground floor and a lecture on the second floor.
Health professionals and members of the 'Vencer e Viver' movement will participate, providing a space for sharing experiences and answering questions, emphasizing the importance of information and support.
