The Angra do Heroísmo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIAH) will be present at Expo Madeira 2026, taking place from July 3rd to 12th in Funchal. The aim is to strengthen economic, business, and tourism relations between the Madeira and Azores archipelagos.
Within the "Explore Azores Islands" space, CCIAH will promote Azorean tourism offerings and boost the direct air link between Funchal and Terceira Island, seen as crucial for mobility and development. Presentation sessions on the Azores and the Terceira-Funchal air route are scheduled for July 10th, in collaboration with SATA Azores Airlines.
The Azorean participation also involves institutional contacts and tastings of local products, such as dairy items. This initiative is part of the 'PromoTur' project, co-funded by the Azores 2030 Operational Program.
