The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a day in Madeira with periods of very cloudy skies and light showers, particularly on the north-facing slopes and higher ground of the island.
Wind will be light to moderate, initially from the northwest, gradually shifting to the northeast. Towards the end of the day, it may become strong in the eastern and western extremities of the island and in the highlands.
Minimum temperatures are expected to be around 21°C, with highs reaching 26°C on Madeira Island. In Porto Santo, minimums will be 22°C and maximums 26°C.
Sea conditions on the north coast will feature northwest waves of 1 to 1.5 meters, increasing to 1.5 to 2 meters in the afternoon. On the south coast, southwest waves will be less than 1 meter, rising to 1 meter on the western part of the island from the afternoon. The sea water temperature will range between 24 and 25°C.
