The island of Madeira will experience very cloudy skies with a chance of generally light showers throughout Tuesday, August 25th, according to the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
Winds will blow from the West/Northwest, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h. In the Funchal region, winds will be light, below 15 km/h, and periods of very cloudy skies with light showers are also expected.
Temperatures are forecast to range between 21 and 27 degrees Celsius in both Funchal and Porto Santo. Sea conditions on the North Coast will see waves from the Northwest between 1.5 to 2 meters, decreasing to 1 to 1.5 meters in the afternoon. The South Coast will have West/Southwest waves of about 1 meter, dropping to below 1 meter during the afternoon. Sea water temperature is expected to be between 24 and 25 degrees Celsius.
