The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a day with generally few clouds over Madeira. However, the northern slopes and highlands of the island may experience increased cloudiness, with a possibility of light precipitation.
The wind will be from the northeast, blowing at a moderate strength of 10 to 30 km/h. In the eastern and western extremities of the island, as well as in higher areas, the wind could occasionally be strong, reaching up to 40 km/h, particularly until mid-afternoon.
Temperatures on Madeira island are expected to range between a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 28ºC. In Funchal, skies will be partly cloudy with light winds under 15 km/h. The sea will have northeast waves of 1 to 1.5 meters on the north coast and less than 1 meter on the south coast.
