Madeira's weather on Tuesday, September 1st, will be generally stable, with periods of cloudiness and light to moderate winds.

The island of Madeira starts the month of September with a generally stable weather forecast, according to the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

The sky will feature periods of significant cloudiness, although the southwest side of the island may experience less cloudy skies. Winds will blow from the northeast, with light to moderate intensity, reaching up to 30 km/h. In the capital, Funchal, skies are expected to be partly cloudy with light winds, below 15 km/h.

Maximum temperatures in the capital are expected to range between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius, and in Porto Santo, between 22 and 27 degrees. Regarding sea conditions, the North Coast will have northeast waves of 1 to 1.5 meters, while on the South Coast, waves will be less than one meter. The sea water temperature is expected to be around 24 to 25 degrees Celsius.
