The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts very cloudy skies for the Madeira archipelago this Friday, August 28th.
Light showers are expected, occurring more frequently on the north coast and in the island's highlands. Winds will blow from the northeast, ranging from light to moderate (up to 30 km/h), potentially reaching 40 km/h on the eastern and western extremities and in the highlands, particularly until early morning and late in the day. A slight drop in temperature is also anticipated in the highlands.
On the north coast, waves are expected to be between 2 to 2.5 meters, while on the south coast they should reach about 1 meter. Sea water temperature is forecast to be between 24 and 25 degrees Celsius.
