Funchal hosted the InnoMedCatalyst Demo Day – Madeira, where ten European startups showcased innovative solutions in precision medicine, artificial intelligence, oncology, mental health, clinical diagnostics, and patient monitoring.
The event concluded the second edition of the European acceleration program InnoMedCatalyst, locally organized by Startup Madeira. The program supported 27 startups and innovative companies in MedTech and HealthTech, involving 13 partners from eight countries focused on precision medicine and digital health solutions.
Carlos Lopes of Startup Madeira highlighted the event's importance in connecting the regional ecosystem with European innovation networks and positioning the island for future EU funding opportunities. MYCancer, a startup with a Madeiran founder, won the awards presented at the event.
