House prices in Madeira saw a 7% increase in August this year compared to the same month last year, according to data from the Idealista portal.
The average price per square meter in the region is now 3,795 euros. Funchal has the third-highest average price in the country, at 4,042 euros/m2.
Recent data indicates a general rise in prices across 25 analysed districts and islands, with the exception of Faial island in the Azores, which saw a 10.1% decrease.
