The Legislative Assembly of Madeira (ALM) has taken a step forward in its communication strategy with the launch of its official YouTube channel.
The aim is to create a closer and more accessible connection with citizens, especially younger generations, adapting to new forms of information consumption. The platform seeks to increase knowledge about parliamentary activity and the functioning of democratic institutions.
According to ALM president Rubina Leal, this initiative reflects the commitment to "opening Parliament to society," using "new platforms to inform, connect, and encourage more participatory citizenship." The channel will host recordings of sessions, ceremonies, debates, and other initiatives, also serving as an audiovisual archive of Madeira's parliamentary history and autonomy.
