The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates periods of very cloudy skies for the Madeira archipelago this Saturday.
There is a possibility of light showers from the late afternoon onwards, with a higher probability in the highlands and on the northern slopes of Madeira Island. Winds will blow from the northeast, light to moderate, potentially reaching 40 km/h in the highlands and the eastern and western extremities of the island from the afternoon. A slight drop in temperature is also expected in the highlands.
For Funchal, skies are expected to remain partly cloudy, with increasing cloudiness throughout the day. Sea conditions on the north coast will see waves of 1.5 to 2 meters, while on the south coast, waves will be less than 1 meter.
