The Autonomous Region of Madeira will mark the centenary of the Bar Association on October 9, 2026. The ceremony will take place at the Hotel VidaMar in Funchal, starting at 2:30 PM.
The event will recall the history of advocacy in Madeira, featuring a film about former President Pedro Goes Pitta, a Funchal native. Video testimonials from former Presidents of the Regional Council of Madeira and the Ethics Council of Madeira will also be presented.
The closing remarks will be delivered by the current President of the Bar Association. The festivities will continue with the Centenary Dinner, scheduled for 8:00 PM.
