The first results of the Madeira Ocean expedition will be presented tomorrow, starting at 15:40, at a public session.
Biologist João Canning Clode of ARDITI will present the preliminary findings, followed by a round table moderated by Pedro Sepúlveda. Researchers, marine protected area managers and the fishing boat operator Ponta Calhau are among the participants.
The programme also includes speeches from ARDITI, National Geographic Pristine Seas and the Fundação Oceano Azul, along with footage from the expedition. Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture Eduardo Jesus will close the session.
