Madeira participates in SIAL Paris to boost internationalization of five regional companies

Five Madeiran companies are participating in SIAL Paris 2026, supported by Invest Madeira, to expand markets and strengthen the regional economy.

Five companies from Madeira are present at the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) Paris 2026, taking place from October 17 to 21. The initiative, promoted by Invest Madeira, aims to expand access to external markets and enhance the region's agri-food offerings.

The companies IlhoPan, Sweets Sugar, IlhaPeixe, Martins Martins, and Tequerys, Lda. are represented in the Regional Government's institutional space, featuring areas for product presentations and tastings. The goal is to establish commercial relationships with international buyers and partners, as well as to follow industry trends.

José Manuel Rodrigues, Regional Secretary for Economy and president of Invest Madeira, emphasized the fair's importance in bringing Madeiran companies closer to global markets and transforming product quality into business opportunities. The participation aligns with the Regional Government's policy to support the internationalization of the food and beverage sector.
