Madeira will participate in the X Regional Quality Days in the Azores, taking place from October 15-16 in Ribeira Grande, São Miguel. Isabel Catarina Rodrigues, the Regional Director for Commerce, Industry, and Quality, will represent the region.
The event, themed "Macaronesia: Quality, Cooperation, and Competitiveness in Island Territories," aims to share experiences and foster cooperation among island territories. Rodrigues will discuss the implementation of the regional strategy and the challenges of promoting quality in Madeira, highlighting its role in modernization, consumer trust, and economic competitiveness.
The conference brings together representatives from institutions, experts, businesses, and academia from the Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands, and Cape Verde to discuss sustainability, innovation, the blue economy, and quality of life. The event also includes "Open Days" for engagement with Azorean companies and institutions.
