Madeira promotes investment in Paris and signs agreement with Franco-Portuguese chamber

Madeira presented business opportunities in Paris, signing a protocol to connect companies with the French market and attract investment.

The Regional Secretary for Economy of Madeira, José Manuel Rodrigues, announced in Paris the opening of "good business opportunities" for investors.

The initiative, promoted by Invest Madeira at the Portuguese Embassy, included the signing of a cooperation protocol with the Franco-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The aim is to facilitate Madeiran companies' access to the French market and promote the region as an investment destination.

Rodrigues highlighted Madeira's fiscal competitiveness, its continuous economic growth for 64 months, and an 80% GDP increase over the past decade. Sectors such as tourism, technology, real estate, services, and trade were pointed out as expanding areas. The agreement with the Franco-Portuguese chamber aims to build a bridge to attract new investments and support the internationalization of Madeiran companies.
