Edgelight Studio has released "Madeira Redefined," a new scenery for the flight simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The package, available on Simmarket for $11.17, includes color-adjusted 2023 aerial imagery covering the entire island.
The scenery offers terrain detail options (LOD19 or LOD17) and includes a 2-meter terrain mesh, over 5,000 custom residential buildings near Madeira Airport (LPMA), Funchal landmarks, historic forts, and port facilities.
"Madeira Redefined" also features two detailed lighthouses with animated beacons, custom solar farms with over 7,000 panels, improved vegetation, and corrected Funchal building heights. Detailed PBR materials, night lighting, and performance optimizations are included.
