Madeira's Business Sector Shows Increased Investment in Q2 2026

The Quarterly Report of the Autonomous Region of Madeira's Business Sector (SERAM) indicates significant growth in investment and other financial indicators.

The Quarterly Report of the Autonomous Region of Madeira's Business Sector (SERAM), covering the second quarter of 2026, has been released and is accessible on the Regional Secretariat for Finance's portal.

The report provides a summary and comparative analysis of quarterly accounts, highlighting an increase in sales and services rendered by €19.7 million (+5.3%) and a rise in operational income of €15.4 million (+3.6%).

Furthermore, SERAM's assets grew by approximately €40.1 million (+1.6%), while liabilities and total financial debt saw significant reductions of 17.0% and 39.5%, respectively. Net worth increased by 21.8%, with a notable improvement in the financial structure, evidenced by a 20.2 percentage point increase in the financial autonomy ratio. SERAM's investment also rose by €18.9 million (+27.6%).
