Traffic on Madeira's Via Rápida flowed without complications on Thursday morning. According to surveillance cameras operated by AIGIH, ACE, under the VR1 brand, and the InfoVias application, no accidents or congestion were recorded.
This smooth traffic is partly attributed to the school holidays and a lower number of commuters. Access roads to Funchal also remained calm.
Authorities are reminding drivers to maintain attentive and responsible driving, respecting speed limits, keeping a safe distance, and avoiding distractions.
