The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates periods of very cloudy skies throughout the Madeira archipelago for Wednesday, July 22nd.
Winds will blow from the north/northeast, ranging from light to moderate, between 10 and 30 km/h. A slight increase in maximum temperatures is expected in the highlands.
In Funchal, very cloudy skies are also forecast, with light winds under 15 km/h. Sea conditions on the north coast will see waves from the north/northeast measuring 1 to 1.5 meters, while on the south coast, waves should be less than 1 meter. The sea water temperature is expected to be between 23/24ºC.
