The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts very cloudy skies for this Tuesday, August 18th, across the Madeira archipelago.
There is a possibility of light showers, more likely on the North coast and in the highlands of Madeira Island. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, up to 30 km/h, from the North. A slight temperature increase is anticipated in mountainous regions.
Temperatures are expected to range between 23 and 27 degrees Celsius on Madeira Island and between 22 and 28 degrees in Porto Santo. In Funchal, periods of very cloudy skies and light winds, below 15 km/h, are also predicted. Sea conditions on the North coast will feature Northeast waves of 1.5 to 2 meters, while on the South coast, waves will be less than one meter. The sea water temperature is between 24 and 25 degrees Celsius.
