A man in his 20s was injured following an alleged assault this morning on Rua da Levada dos Barreiros in Funchal.
According to DIÁRIO, the victim had visible facial wounds, specifically to his nose and mouth, from an alleged attack with a metal bar.
The Funchal Volunteer Firefighters provided assistance at the scene and, after receiving initial care, the man was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
