Meia Serra Station to Stop Accepting Wooden Packaging from October 12

The company Águas e Resíduos da Madeira (ARM) has highlighted the importance of correctly separating and delivering wooden packaging, such as pallets and crates.

These waste materials, provided they are not painted or contaminated, can be taken for recycling free of charge at ARM's Ecocenters. As of October 12, the Meia Serra Solid Waste Treatment Station will no longer accept them.

ARM urges everyone's cooperation for more efficient resource management and to strengthen the circular economy in the Region.
