A monk seal was observed at Doca do Cavacas, in the Funchal area.
The marine animal was seen swimming calmly in the waters of Doca do Cavacas, a well-known spot frequented by swimmers.
This sighting adds to other recent sightings of monk seals in coastal areas of Madeira Island.
