A motorcyclist in his 20s died early Saturday morning following an accident on Estrada da Liberdade, in Funchal.
The impact, which occurred on the uphill section of the road, was violent and caused the motorcyclist's immediate death. The Public Security Police were present at the scene.
The Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy to determine the circumstances of the death. The Funchal Fire Brigade was called to clean the road.
