A motorcyclist sustained injuries this morning, June 26th, when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a vehicle on Rua 31 de Janeiro, in Funchal.
The accident took place at the intersection of Ponte de Santa Emília. The motorcyclist received assistance at the scene from the Portuguese Red Cross and was subsequently taken to the hospital. The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed.
Visible material damage was reported to both the car and the motorcycle involved in the incident.
