The cruise ship MSC Virtuosa made a call at Funchal Port this Thursday, bringing a total of 6,509 people on board, comprising 4,809 passengers and 1,700 crew members.
The vessel, operated by MSC Cruises, began its docking procedures at 7 AM and will remain at Pier 2 of the Pontinha breakwater until 6 PM.
The stopover, managed by JFM Shipping, is part of a 12-night itinerary that started and will end in Southampton, England, with previous port of call in Lisbon and next destination Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The full route includes stops in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lanzarote, and Vigo.
