The new NaturNorte administration is actively working towards the reopening of the São Vicente Caves. The announcement was made by the Mayor, José Carlos Gonçalves, who highlighted the site's significance for the municipality.
"The Caves represent a natural and tourist heritage of enormous importance for our municipality, and we want to see them valued again and serving São Vicente," stated the mayor. The recovery of this space is a priority for the municipal company.
Mayor Gonçalves also announced significant investments totaling approximately 4.4 million euros in water and sanitation networks, aiming to improve living conditions and retain the population in the municipality.
